I listened to Adam Curry’s conversation the other day on JRE and was just giddy and gleeful at his public proclamation to his becoming a born again Christian.  I congratulate him for his bravery.  At his level it is like throwing down the gauntlet with his public image going forward.  And when you do that for God, He will honor you back in epic ways.  I think I may start listening to his podcast!

I have been praying for, and saying out loud in proclamation for, Joe Rogan and Duncan Trussell to finally surrender their hearts and souls to Jesus.  And all their households.  I have prayed for God to place the right men and women in their lives at the right times to show His beautiful light and love He actually has for all of us.  I do that with any of my loved ones or anyone I feel like God has put on my heart to pray for.  I pray that someone within their inner circle be a born again Christian with a heart to show them The One and only true God of the Bible.  How He actually intended for it to be.  And what is actually going on.

The spiritual warfare is ramping up.  More people are coming to a saving knowledge in droves than have been for many years.  We just watched 23 people young and old get saved last Sunday at our online church service.  Check out lcboise.com for a plethora of valuable sermons.

Older born again Christians (like myself) who have been living in a mostly dormant state of relationship with God for various reasons, have woken up and been rejuvenated.  On fire for Jesus, so to speak.  We feel compelled to make sure we are doing our absolute best to represent Him according to His will.  Because He’s not willing that any should perish.  And neither are we.  And some days feel like we are circling the drain of life as we know it.

Evil is ramping up on the world stage in a very big way.  The shit is actually hitting the fan!  Except instead of being one catastrophic event, it’s apparently going to nickel and dime the life right out of us.  Literally.  Have you noticed an extra amount of mayhem going on all over the place?  In every instance, the man with common sense is left shaking his head at the absolute absurdity of it all.  Yet it is happening, every time, because of an evil influence somewhere along the way.  It’s not just surreal, it’s unreal.  Yet real.  Satan is having his last hurrah.  Proverbs 29:2

If we are on the Titanic (America), and it has in fact already hit the iceberg, I believe it’s time to seek a life raft.  But one that has been provided for everyone, not just for a few.  Its available to us all.  But it requires you stepping out in faith into the raft.  And trust that He will be with you through every step of the rest of it.

I have no way of knowing what’s coming in the next 5-10 years in America.  I’m just taking all of this day by day.  No matter what happens, I am thankful for the truth of Philippians 4:7, and that my future past this life is secure.  I could die right now and be happy about it and want for others to rejoice as well.

Because “To live is Christ, and to die is gain.”  However, I don’t want to die until I can fulfill my purpose to the best of my ability for as long as He sees fit.

I am thankful He saved me and invited me to walk in the garden with Him, every day.  There’s nothing quite like it.  It’s better than sex, if that helps at all.  And I’m a big fan.  That could send me on a whole other tangent.  Being born again according to the Bible, is a beautiful thing I pray everyone find.  And He has invited you too.  Go all in with Jesus.  You won’t regret it.
